Letra Type is a small type foundry run by Isabel Urbina Peña, based in Brooklyn, N.Y. We offer fresh, well-crafted retail fonts and accept commissions for custom typefaces, lettering and logotypes.

In addition to designing typefaces, we appreciate and support the work of inspiring women that create type systems (typeface designers), work with type (graphic designers), or love drawing letters (lettering artists and calligraphers). We’ll post occasional features of them on the blog along with other type news.
